Hi everyone!  I'm glad I found this site because it's packed with lots of good information.  I'm a retired Electrical Engineer and I have worked with OEM programming of TCM's, PCM's, ECM's, etc.  I have worked on programming modules for John Deere, Allison, Cummins, Caterpillar, Eaton, Wabco, Bendix, General Motors and Ford.
I've also utilized diagnostic software and many different communication adapters for the afore mentioned manufacturers.  I still like to fiddle with programming and diagnostics for my own personal benefit and to be able to help neighbors and friends.  I'm grateful to be a part of this forum!

Hello!
My name is Mitko
I am from Bulgaria, but since 2000 I have been living in Belgium.
I am glad that I came across this forum, which I discovered on my own in 2021. in the process of my retraining.
When I was 6 years old, I took apart the radio at home to see what was inside and from then on it started...
For me, electronics has imperceptibly become an everyday thing.
3 years ago I quit repairing laptops and phones and started retraining in automotive electronics.
I am mainly interested in automotive electronics at the hardware, firmware and software level.
It is my pleasure to repair ECU, SRS, Comfort module, immobilizers...
Naturally, everything listed above is directly related to diagnostics, analysis and identification of damage.
For fear of damaging any car, the first cars I started working on were hopelessly damaged, went through many garages, got to the official dealer's garage and were returned from there with a conclusion of "total loss" and then sat somewhere in the hope that after all be fixed. Cars like this are the best job, no one can blame you for wrecking their car if you don't get the job done, and when you fix it the pay is excellent.
Dear forum members, I hope to learn a lot from you and if I can help someone, I will.
Accept cordial greetings!
